St. Francis meets our area's health needs by combining up to date services and personal attention close to home. Our 42-bed facility provides quality, affordable care, with a professional staff serving young and old patients. We have in-house facilities for cardiac telemetry, CT scan and ultrasound. Expert cardiologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, nephrologists and general surgeons have clinics and consult at St. Francis. We offer screening mammography in collaboration with St. John's Breast Center, which allows daily review of mammograms by a radiologist specializing in breast care. We are proud of the close, personal attention we can offer locally.

St. Francis also provides respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Dietitians, Social Services, Computerized Laboratory and Durable Medical equipment for home use including oxygen, hospital beds, wheelchairs and walkers. St. Francis collaborates with St. John's to provide ambulance and air transportation for surgical or intensive medical management.

In February 1997 we added Pulmonary Rehabilitation to our Cardiac Rehab Dept. Three departments have expanded to receive patient referrals from Springfield, West Plains and neighboring communities. Together, they operate five days a week.
